FIFA 18: Something incredible happens if you keep getting fired on Career Mode

FIFA 18 may be have been out for an age, but there’s still plenty of stuff to do – especially on Career Mode.

YouTuber TheMasterBucks decided to find out how many times you can get fired in a season… and we’ll give you a clue – it’s more than once.

Getting fired in the game is actually pretty hard, so to ensure the board were suitably unimpressed, the manager forfeited every single match with his first club, PSG.

One down

It didn’t take long for the club to realise they’d made a huge mistake, and they sacked their manager in July – a few months after offering him the job.

Now, as you know, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the line.

Despite his horrible track record, there are still plenty of offers on the table – especially from other teams in France.

What are they thinking?

The manager finally settles on Huddersfield and then continues his mission – forfeiting every single game.

And yes, you guessed it – he’s sacked a couple of months later.

Maybe he should think about a career change?

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Starting at the mighty PSG, the manager’s now struggling to find offers from Championship Clubs.

Still, there are a few who have kept the faith – Burton Albion being one of them.

He signs a contract and a couple of months later he’s out the door.

A familiar sight

Amazingly, all the offers from clubs have dried up – apart from one. Gillingham in EFL League One.

Need we say what happens next?

The sackings just keep coming

The game then floods you with a load of offers from ELF League 2, which is where something strange happens.

If you keep getting sacked, the game just bounces you round a load of League 2 clubs – but it doesn’t even give you a chance to ‘manage’ them.

Accept an offer and you’ll get locked in a simulation before being axed a week or two later – without actually doing anything.

EA Sports didn’t plan for this

The game also starts behaving incredibly erratically – with clubs who have fired you in the past, offering you a job, then firing you days later.

Finally, if you get through that Groundhog Day hell, you’ll be treated to a couple of offers from teams in Ireland – but by that time, all hope is lost.

After the end of the gruelling experiment / season, the YouTuber was sacked a total of 19 times.

Maybe he should find another line of work?
