Arsenal’s first goal in Europe under Unai Emery has been scored, and it came from a fairly likely source in the shape of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The striker netted before halftime in their Europa League opener against Vorskla Poltava, but he should be thanking his good mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the work he did in the build-up.

With about 15 minutes left to play in the first-half, Arsenal were able to counter the Ukrainian side after some brilliant work from Mkhitaryan.
Vorskla were on the attack with a run down the right-wing, but lost the ball thanks to a moment of hesitation from the man Mkhi was marking.
The Armenian then rushed forward and picked out Alex Iwobi on the left wing, who crossed the ball for Auba slide home inside the far post.
Majestic stuff.

But did Mkhitaryan pull of the ultimate moment of trickery in the build-up to the goal?
You see, the Volksa player who received the initial pass appeared to leave the ball, letting it slide unseen behind him and into the possession of Mkhitaryan.
Some of the pundits in the BT Sport studio – including Martin Keown and Glenn Hoddle – felt sure the former Man United man shouted something in Ukrainian.
If he did say something, then I guess we’ve all been guilty of that on the pitch, haven’t we?
